A gothic mansion set beneath a large woodland. Originally built in 1853 as a hunting lodge and gentleman’s residence has now been converted into a modern and luxurious 20-bedroom hotel along with a Michelin starred restaurant being led by Paul Leonard, Head Chef.
The restaurant is a fine dining experience not to be missed. Using only the freshest local ingredients which they produce exciting tasting menus combining interesting and unusual flavours. Alongside this you can have a wine flight which has been perfectly selected by the sommeliers to compliment each dish and its unique flavours.
They are all about local ingredients and produce, that’s why they have created the fantastic kitchen garden where a lot of their herbs and vegetables for their menus come from.
The bar has many unique drinks available – they create their own cocktails seasonally using an abundance of fresh items from their kitchen garden and make their own infusions on site!
The hotel itself has been refurbished recently and all the rooms and communal areas having been decorated to a very high standard with all the amenities you could ask for.
You can dine in the restaurant for lunches on Thursday to Sunday and Dinners on Wednesday to Sunday.
