Living in uncertain times Covid- 19
To all our guests and supporters, we would like to thank you for supporting us in rolling forward your bookings at this difficult time for everyone.
The world has changed dramatically and for some it will never be the same as we lose loved ones.
We are an incredible strong and resourceful nation and as such we will get through this somehow. Life may not be the same on the other side of this but one positive thing is that we have all started to talk to our neighbor’s and friend and we are becoming that nation of people that help each other instead of looking the other way.
With saddened hearts we closed our doors on Monday 23rd March following Government guidelines that B&B’s and Guest houses were also included in the establishments that had to close immediately. Our dedicated team were sent home and have since all been furloughed so they will each receive 80% of their wages for the next 3 months or longer if its extended. We all keep in daily contact to support each other and make sure each other are ok. Elliot & Robyn have worked out a rota to walk Zola along with Elliot’s mum so you might see some of their antics on social media while getting they’re once a day daily outdoor exercise.
Pete and I are on complete isolation due to my preexisting health issues. We felt if he didn’t go out then we could be together. Robyn is kindly doing all our shopping and leaving it at the front door, only problem is I’ve got to cook it!
I am really missing making all the cakes for all our guests and its not helped by the fact that we have run out of flour so I can’t even back for others.
All of us at Nanny Brow would like to reiterate the nations gratitude and thanks to all the people who are keeping us safe, well and fed during this pandemic.
To all our guests old and new we hope you and your families stay safe and well and we look forward to welcoming you back to Nanny Brow when we reach the other side of this.
With best wishes From
Sue, Pete, Elliot, Robyn, Natalia, Peter and Mary
